    Finally, one of the best ways to come up with great fashion ideas is to look and see what other people are wearing. Now, this does not mean that you should copy their outfits, but if you see an element of an outfit they are wearing, you can adapt it to your own personal style.

    Summer time is one of the most fun times to show off your wardrobe. Make sure the clothes you are wearing are fashionable and represent your personal style.

    High Street Fashion Trends For 2010

    Now that 2010 is in full swing, it is time to have a look at the High Street fashion trends for this year. There have been many changes from last year, but here are the most important ones.

    Prints
    Prints for women are hot in the summer, and 2010 is no different. Floral and abstract prints always seem to look good on summer dresses and skirts for women. And for the men, no, that doesn’t mean you can wear printed Hawaiian shirts.

    Sedated Colors
    Sedated colors are also a very important trend for 2010. Especially In the summer, people like to wear bright colors liker yellows and oranges, but this year most people are going for tans and skin tone clothes. They don’t want to be seen as too flashy, and these sedated colors help with that.

    Understated Looks
    Finally, the overall trend for 2010 is understated looks. Now, this doesn’t mean people cant be unique and have clothes that stand out, but people are just not going for flamboyant looks that were popular with the high street crowd in the past. Some people may think this has to do with the world economy and that people don’t want top flamboyantly display their wealth, but it could just be a nice change from years past also.

    As long as you go in the direction of the above trends, you will look good wherever you do. Just don’t take them to seriously and don’t abandon your personal style.

    Underwear As Outerwear

    A recent phenomenon around the world has been people wearing underwear as outerwear. This is not to say that they are wearing their underpants over their pants like superman, but they are wearing clothes that would traditionally be classified as undergarments as their clothes. In a world where everyone is looking to establish their own style that is distinct from others, this is what we have come down to. But, what is this “underwear as outerwear” trend all about?

    For example, a lot of women are wearing garments that would be classified as underwear on their upper bodies with nothing over it. It seems that as long as everything is covered and the clothes are somewhat presentable, it is acceptable to do this. Some women are even starting to wear men’s oversized boxers with smaller, feminine shorts over top of them.

    It is important to note, though, that the people who are wearing underwear as outerwear are not doing it in the work environment or anywhere where it would be unacceptable. Most of these fashion statements are at home in clubs and at bars, especially with the younger generation.

    Is this fashion trend going to catch on, or is it just another fad that will be done at the end of the season. By the looks of it, this trend will not stay for long, and eventually people will take a look at themselves and see how silly they look. But then again, isn’t that what fashion is all about?
